A calm, practical voice for new parents in Singapore.
Since 2020, Yi Ling has grown Baby Planner SG with a simple goal: to be the calm, practical voice every new parent wishes they had on speed dial. As a certified Baby Planner, and with a postpartum doula qualification, she trained extensively in newborn care, sleep, feeding, and the unspoken art of helping a family find its feet in the first hundred days.
Yi Ling has worked with hundreds of Singapore families through pregnancies, complicated births, breastfeeding challenges, sleep regressions, picky toddlers, and everything in between. Her approach is warm, judgement-free, and genuinely practical. She gives you the answer, not a list of caveats.
What she always found hard was replying to a flurry of messages quickly enough whenever she finished a support session, or woke up from sleep. She knew exactly how time-sensitive each question was, and she hated leaving families waiting. So in 2026, she built Pocket Nanny: her AI digital twin, trained on her actual practice and available around the clock. The voice is hers. The approach is hers. The know-how is hers, simply delivered in a form that does not sleep.
The quick-scan version.
What families come to Yi Ling for.
Pocket Nanny is powerful because it reflects the same expertise families already trust in person.
Sleep
From newborn sleep cycles to four-month regressions to toddler sleep, Yi Ling’s approach is gentle, evidence-informed, and adapted to what your family can actually sustain.
Feeding
Breastfeeding, pumping, bottle refusal, weaning, baby-led weaning, picky toddlers: she’s seen every feeding curveball and has practical support to match.
Postpartum recovery
The fourth trimester is hard. Yi Ling supports both the practical side, like sleep and feeding, and the emotional side, including overwhelm, identity shifts, and when to ask for more help.

“Clueless parents-to-be Lucius and I learned so much, and she got us thinking about things that hadn’t even crossed our minds.”Cheryl Goh, private prenatal class client
Why I built Pocket Nanny.
“I built Pocket Nanny because the questions came up at 3am, or when I was supporting other families, and I couldn’t be there for every family that needed me exactly when they needed me. So I trained an AI digital twin on the way I actually answer those questions: my approach, my voice, and my Singapore context.
It’s not a replacement for the moments that need me in person. It’s there for everything else: the night-time worry, the small panic, the question that does not need a doctor but absolutely deserves an answer.”
